Rain and snow didn’t stop Philadelphia’s finest from stepping out on Saturday evening at the 25th annual Hair O’ The Dog. This year’s black tie bash was held at the Crystal Tea Room in Center City.

Highlights from the evening included performances by DJ Party Favor and rapper T-Pain. Both pleased the crowd with dance heavy tracks and radio hits during their sets. DJ K Styles, one of the opening DJs at the event, was also quite popular with the crowd, bringing many of the 1,200 attendees out onto the dance floor.

Guests who attended also enjoyed an open bar, which featured drink specials titled to match the galactic ‘Out of This World’ theme, buffet and numerous photo ops, including opportunities to pose on a red carpet and with themed backdrops. Guests also had the opportunity to participate in a silent auction, which featured exotic vacations and autographed sports memorabilia from some of the city’s favorite teams and players.

The annual event, which was founded in 1994 by longtime friends Daniel Cronin and Robert Moliano, benefits a local charitable cause each year. This year, a portion of the proceeds went to Morris Animal Rescue. Known as America’s first Animal Shelter, the local organization, founded in 1874 and located in Center City, is dedicated to providing high quality care for animals in need and has never turned an animal away in its 145 year history.
