Former Univ. professor dies in boating accident

William G. Bistline, an assistant professor in the College of Commerce and Finance, passed away Sept. 22. Bistline, 53, taught at the University from 1994 to 1999.

According to a press release from the public relations department, he died in a scuba diving accident off the coast of New Jersey.

Bistline’s funeral mass will be celebrated today at 10 a.m. at St. Anastasia’s Roman Catholic Church in Newtown Square.
