Winger’s chicken deals delivered fast

Winger’s is a fast food venue featuring delivery service, located adjacent to Villanova. Best known for its buffalo style chicken wings, the restaurant has been around for three and a half years. Don’t stop at the wings, as a customer the options are numerous. The menu offers white or dark meat chicken nuggets, grilled chicken and delicious chicken salads.

Winger’s price range is affordable, especially for college students with a light wallet. French fries cost $1.85 and chicken platters cost $7.95 each. The portions are large, so expect to leave Winger’s full stomach. Since Winger’s is delivery-based, the in-restaurant atmosphere at Winger’s is small. The parking space is limited and there are no tables or chairs. But, Winger’s concern is getting the food to its customers rapidly and on time, and the chefs do a fantastic job.

For Winger’s, location is a key reason for its success. This real estate rule applies to Winger’s as well. “Being next to Villanova University helps service,” says owner Elyas Tuna.

Many students call or take a trip over to Winger’s, for fast delivery service, and a bunch of hot chicken wings. Its location on Lancaster Avenue is key, according to Tuna. “During rush hour, and in the afternoon, we get a lot of business. Villanova football games help our business, too,” he said.

Winger’s also has another location in Bolson, Pa., in addition to the Lancaster Avenue location.

Winger’s location is also beneficial for students and the establishment’s hours are convenient. Students can order Winger’s food for breakfast, lunch or dinner. They can stay in their rooms and study over plates of spicy chicken wings.

“Usually we order from Winger’s after a night out,” junior Mathew Trapani said. Winger’s accepts Wildcard, so students do not need to worry about the cash. The big three credit cards, MasterCard, Visa and American Express, are also accepted.

Winger’s chicken deals are available to students at affordable prices through the owner’s understanding of college budgets. It offers discounts to students by disseminating coupons to the University. The restaurant’s menus are a common fixture in the lobbies of all the dorms on campus. “About 50 percent of Winger’s business comes from the Villanova students,” Tuna said.
