10 Totally Random Questions for…Chris Kotwicki

Matt Sheridan

1. Would you rather wear the same pair of socks for a year or not shower for a month?

That’s a tough one. Socks for a year, though, I guess I’d just shower in the socks.

2. Sum up your fashion sense in six words–no more, no less.

“Sweatpants hair-tied chillin with no makeup”- Drake or if that doesn’t work: “Variety.” It is the spice of life. It’s how I live my life so I apply it to my fashion as well.

3. Who would you trade places with for a day?

I’d probably trade places with Dan Snyder, the owner of the Washington Redskins. Quite frankly, I think I could make some big changes in one day. It’d give him a day off of a stressful job, and that would probably be my dream occupation, so why not live it for a day.

4. Who would play with you in a movie?

Jon Hamm or Denzel Washington. Hamm because his role in “Mad Men” is acting at its best, and Washington because I’ve been told numerous times that we look alike.

5. Drake. Yes? No? Why?

Yes. He’s rapped about ’Nova in two songs, he’s been here for Hoops Mania, “Trophies” is now Villanova basketball’s introduction song. People either love him, or hate him, but he’d say they’re jealous because “Jealousy is just love and hate at the same time.”

6. How do you feel about online shopping?

Online shopping is the GOAT. I make a living on Amazon Prime, I probably have purchased over 200 items from Amazon in the last two years. It’s just so convenient and easy.

7. Where’s the coolest place you’ve ever travelled?

Alaska. No doubt in my mind. I went on a cruise there a couple of years ago and everything about it was perfect. The scenery was unbelievable, the weather was great. People think Alaska is just a giant glacier where it always snows, they’re wrong.

8. What’s your favorite thing to eat on the ’Nova campus?

Mozzarella sticks. I once ate 24. I’m not sure if that says more about how much I like food, or how good they are.

9. Besides Christmas, what’s your favorite holiday and why?

Super Bowl Sunday? But actually it’s probably Thanksgiving. The weather cannot be beat, the food is unbelievable and football is on all day. I’m also a Black Friday crazy person so after the night game I go camp out at Best Buy.

10. If you could ban one thing from social media, what would it be?

I like to think that I’ve got a pretty good grasp on social media (shameless plug: @ChrisKotwicki on Instagram and Twitter). If it was Facebook, I’d ban Happy Birthday posts. If you’re a good enough friend, you should text or call or see them in person; if you’re not, then don’t. If it was Twitter, I’d ban the hashtags: #thoughtsandprayers and #blessed because they’re ridiculous and are overused.
