Indie rock band ‘The Morning Herald’ is set to release a new EP on entitled “Pure Electricity.” The trio, who was featured in an issue of The Villanovan last year, is comprised of three juniors at the University—Zach Leone, Dan Schmetterling, and Cole Chebi.

The EP features three tracks and will be available to stream on Spotify, Apple Music and Google Play. The lead single, ‘Opinions,’ was recoreded by the band in May of this year at a studio in Connecticut and is described by Leone as a “beachy and upbeat garage rock” track. Leone penned the EP’s other two songs while living in New York this past summer before recording them with guitarist Schmetterling in August.

Check back in the next issue of The Villanovan for an interview with the band.
