Large wooden crosses have recently been put up on Main, West and South campuses in honor of Lent, a time for repentance, sacrifice and deciding what is important in one’s life. The crosses are erected annually because the cross is an important symbol to Christians. It embodies God’s redemptive act of sacrificial love for us by God.
