No dry toast: homelessness, a career

“I’m not really sure what I’m going to do after graduation,” said the Villanova senior as she calmly sat back in her chair, waiting for the lecture to start. It wasn’t the first time I had received that same answer. In fact, a number of seniors still seem to be forming their plans after consummation of their education. However, this senior seemed particularly without stress, and I couldn’t help but wonder why. I have yet to begin my senior year, and I’m already worrying about being jobless and on the streets; so why isn’t she? Maybe she knows something I don’t; was she planning on making a career out of being homeless?
