Matt Ryan was The Villanovan’s Associate Editor-in-Chief in 2023. A senior majoring in Communication and specializing in journalism, Matt spent a year as Co-Sports Editor before taking his current role. A perfect weekend for Matt is spent by the lake, grilling steaks, with the Orioles on TV. Matt’s writing has been seen in The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Charlotte Observer, Sports Illustrated, MLB.com and City of Basketball Love.
