The University’s presence adds approximately $51 million each year to Radnor Township, and also has a significant economic impact on both Delaware County and Philadelphia, according to a study conducted by Econsult Corporation, a Philadelphia-based organization that specializes in economic research and statistical and econometric analysis. According to Kenneth Valosky, vice president for Administration and Finance, and Chris Kovolski, assistant to the president for Internal and External Affairs, the study of the University’s economic and community impact was conducted so that people would be aware of the benefits of the University to the surrounding community.
