I am writing to learn if your newspaper carries an advice column a la “Ann Landers,” “Dear Abby,” especially created for students to field questions regarding concerns they may have regarding their future or situations they are currently experiencing.

I have served as a writer in several capacities, and have had a great deal of work published internationally in both online and print environments.

Additionally, my articles have been published within the fields of Music, Business and General Interest. I have also published a highly popular online newsletter for several years, and have held (and continue to hold) regularly featured columns in select publications.

I also have the distinct advantage of being a former college student, Army sergeant, prison correction official and police officer, as well as a professional recording artist. I am also one of many featured ‘experts’ on the highly resourceful site, “AskMe.com.”

My proposed column titled,”In Touch with Kenny Love,” has sparked interest with Grand Valley State University’s (Allendale, MI) student publication (“The Lanthorn”). As a result, it will begin regularly featuring my column this Fall. GVSU carries a student population of 16,000.
