CUPRAP CALLS FOR STUDENT ENTRIES”PERSONS OF COLOR COMMUNICATIONS AWARD”

Recognizing the need to attract more persons of color to the communicationsprofessions, the College and University Public Relations Association ofPennsylvania (CUPRAP) has established the Communications Internship Awardfor Students of Color. The program makes it financially easier for studentsof color to obtain valuable internship experience in a communications field.The internship program is open to all students of color attending aPennsylvania college or university.

Eligible candidates must be a member of a racial minority group; i.e.African-American, Asian/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, Native Americanand must be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accreditedcollege or university (two- or four-year, public or private) within theCommonwealth of Pennsylvania. Applicants need not be Pennsylvaniaresidents. Candidates must have successfully completed the freshman year orfirst year of college and must be enrolled as a degree candidate in thesecond year or beyond for the 2003-2004 academic year.
