My name is David Bartholomew and I am the originator of the One World Flag– an international symbol of diversity.

I was hoping to suggest as a timely story– the growing number of people embracing the flag as a symbol of peace in the face of current world events. I will give you a quick number of basic facts here, refer you to the website, and of course, offer any additional info you might need.

* The One World flag is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization developed in 1996 by David Bartholomew, a current resident of Lawrence, Kansas.

* Summary of Basic tenets– “Honoring the Talents, Abilities and Uniqueness in Each of Us, as Strengths that can Benefit All of Us” “… because we have more in common as a world, than we have differences between nations.” “Think Bigger!” “Inclusive of everyone, at the exclusion of no one.”

* supported by many positively-intentioned individuals and groups, across more than 45 countries.

* pioneer of the One World Kids Curriculum on Tolerance, Uniqueness and Diversity

* speaker and participant in a number of related appearances.
