In your February 14 issue, Mike Dolan wrote an article stating that Villanova should take a stand, as a whole university, and condemn the war on Iraq.

As an alumni of this prestigious university, I believe I should be considered in the “whole university” concept as I have certainly continued to promote Villanova since my graduation and have a vested interest in its activities. That being the case, my stand is that war is justified and we should do everything possible to ensure Iraq has no opportunity to strike first.

Sorry, Mr. Dolan, but since my opinion counts as a member of the “whole university”, Villanova cannot break its silence and condemn the potential war on Iraq.
