To the editors of the Villanovan:

I was extremely surprised to see the front cover of the Villanovan last week because the women’s basketball team was so poorly given credit for their amazing win. As a student and a woman I think their upset deserved to be on the front cover prominently displayed, instead of the little blurb on the left column. The girls basketball team isn’t publicized enough during the regular season, but after a win like that, there should have been an article on the front page. The women’s team made national headlines all around the country, and it is pretty sad that their own school fails to give them the proper recognition they deserve.
