Did you know that the dance team and your VU cheerleaders are down in Daytona, Florida right now attending the NCA (National Cheerleaders Association) National Competition? This was the first time for both teams to attend NCA Nationals.

After the preliminaries, the cheerleaders placed 7th in a division of 25 squads and are headed for the Finals which take place Friday, April 5.

The cheerleaders have been absent from the university and their classes for some time, cheering on the woman’s basketball team in Oklahoma and Tennessee before heading for their own national competition.
