Augustinian from Province of Saint Thomas of Villanova to be Ordained to the Priesthood

Villanova, PA – The Province of Saint Thomas of Villanova announces the ordination to the priesthood of Robert P. Hagan, O.S.A. Brother Rob will be ordained at 10:00 A.M. on September 13, 2003, at Saint Thomas of Villanova Church on the campus of Villanova University, Villanova, PA. The Very Reverend Joseph F. Martino, Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia and newly appointed Bishop of the Diocese of Scranton, will preside over the ordination. Brother Rob was born in 1965 in Westwood, NJ, graduated from Villanova University in 1987 and graduated from Widener University School of Law in 1990. He made his first profession to the Augustinian Order on August 14, 1999 and his solemn profession to the Order in January of this year. Brother Rob recently completed graduate studies in Divinity at Augustinian College in Washington, DC., and in August joined the staff at Villanova University as Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance. Says Donald F. Reilly, O.S.A., Prior Provincial of the Province of Saint Thomas of Villanova: “I speak for all our friars when I say we are excited to see Rob embark on his ministry in the priesthood.
