How interesting that the Inquirer deemed the VU Women’s Big East a Major “news” story not the “events of a game” as the Villanovan chose to do. The fact that the story was two days old still does NOT justify your decision. My reference to putting “good news” on the FrontPage did not mean you have to become a “good news” newspaper but emphasized your poor choice in relegating a GREAT story to the back cover. And YES you should apologize to the team as well as to the school and readers for that poor decision making. Hopefully you will realize your error with the amount of letters you received regarding this issue and make a wise decision next time a choice like this occurs!
