The top headlines for this week were disappointing. I understand the media blitz surrouding the recent suspensions of the Men’s Basketball team, but I think it was a huge oversight not to put the Women’s Basketball Team on the front cover of The Villanovan (or in the online version, “Top Headlines”). They deserve to be front page news. Those women work hard with much less reward than the men’s team. Unfortunately, their astounding victory over the defending National Champions UConn ending a 70 game winning streak in the Big East Championship was pushed to the back because of the immature mistakes of the men’s team.
