“Dancing with the Stars” released its cast list for the upcoming season this past week.

One of the headline members of the cast was “All My Children” actress Susan Lucci, the biggest star in daytime TV history. She has long been a fan of the show and is definitely one of the favorites to win the competition this season.

Other stars who seem to have a chance include two-time Olympic beach volleyball gold medalist Misty May-Treanor and former *NSYNC star Lance Bass.

Some comedic castings include former NFL star Warren Sapp and 82-year-old actress Cloris Leachman.

Sapp is too big to do well in this show, but his charisma will be fun to watch before he is eliminated quickly. Leachman seems old for the high-octane spectacles that the various dances in the show require, so it will be interesting to see what her dance professional can get out of her.

In addition to having its oldest contestant ever this season, “Dancing” will also have its youngest contestant in the form of “Hannah Montana” star Cody Linely.

Life is going well for Linely, as he is paired with Julianne Hough.

It will also be fun to watch how prima donna Kim Kardashian performs, as already she has had a foot injury in rehearsals with her dance partner.

Will this show be too much work for her or will she shock us all by having some talent besides her good looks? Tune in Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. on ABC to find out.
