Kate Murray of the women’s water polo team was recently named offensive player of the week by the MAAC conference. The Darien, Connecticut product scored 21 points on 23 shots this past weekend, notching 11 goals, 10 assists, and 10 steals as well as drawing 5 knockouts. The sophomore standout continues to remain excellent for the Wildcats following a successful freshman year in which she played in all 25 games and was fifth in the MAAC in sprint winning percentage. Murray and the Wildcats will be back in action this weekend as they return to MAAC play against St. Francis Brooklyn, Iona, and Siena.
