On October 26 during Villanova’s Homecoming Weekend, Villanova University Alumni Association (VUAA) awarded Eric Quisenberry ’98 VSB, ’08 MBA the 2019 annual Loyalty Award for his “distinguished service to the University.” Established in 1932, this award is the oldest honor bestowed to an alumnus who has contributed his or her service to the University. Recipients for the award are chosen by a vote of previous years’ winners.

Quisenberry currently works in Real Estate at Dunne Manning in Allentown, Pa. Prior to this, he worked for Lehigh Gas Corporation. After that, he moved on to finance and operation roles for RoundCorner, Inc. At the very beginning of his career, he returned to Villanova to work in the offices of Alumni Relations and University Advancement for eight years.

Before attending Villanova, Quisenberry grew up in Stoughton, Wisconsin. While at Villanova, he was active on campus, serving as Villanova School of Business Senator and then eventually being elected President of Villanova’s SGA. He also was involved in the Villanova Ambassadors and Campus Ministry and he participated in Villanova’s intramural program. Quisenberry graduated with a degree in Accountancy in 1998 and went on to receive his MBA from VSB in 2008.

“Eric is a true Villanovan in every sense, and his lifetime of commitment to and passion for our University makes him extremely deserving of this award,” George Kolb, Associate Vice President for Alumni Relations, said. “We could not be happier for Eric as we celebrate his contributions to Villanova in the presence of his family, friends and many of our past recipients.”

“Aside from my parents and grandparents, who enabled me to attend Villanova, the University has provided me the foundation for nearly everything that I have in my life,” Quisenberry said. “First and foremost, it’s where I met my wife.  I also made many other life-long friendships and connections that have guided and focused me over the last 20 plus years. Moreover, all the incredible opportunities I have had to this point — personally, professionally and spiritually — have come about because of my connections to Villanova. As such, I feel incredibly indebted to the University and I try to be as loyal to and supportive of Villanova University as possible – because it has meant so much to me and my family to have Villanova as a part of our lives.”

Quisenberry has remained active since graduating from Villanova. He is a supporter and advocate of the University’s athletic programs and remains a member of the Regional New York Campaign Committee for Villanova’s campaign, “For the Greater Great: Villanova Campaign to Ignite Change.” He is also a board member for the Villanova University Financial Club, as well as involved in the Villanova Greater Philadelphia Alumni Chapter, the University’s President’s Club, and Augustinian Development Council. Additionally, he serves as golf chairman at Llanerch Country Club.

Quisenberry currently lives in Bryn Mawr, Pa., with his wife, Chrissy, CLAS ’98, ’02, and their three children: Maeve, Thomas, Margaret.
