Former Villanova forward Tyler Burton signed with the Memphis Hustle on Wednesday, March 12. The Hustle is the G League Affiliate of the NBA’s Memphis Grizzlies.
Burton spent one season as a Wildcat after transferring from Richmond in the 2023-24 offseason for his final season of collegiate basketball.
At Villanova, he started in 33 of the team’s 34 games, averaging 7.5 points and 6.1 rebounds.

Following Villanova’s postseason exit in the first round of the National Invitational Tournament (NIT), Burton declared for the 2024 NBA Draft. In the process of preparing for the draft, he injured his knee.
It forced him to go through rehab, which he returned to Richmond for help.
Now Burton is back to full health and ready to continue his pursuit of a professional basketball career. He will join familiar names on the Hustle including former University of Connecticut guard and national champion Cam Spencer.
Butron will join six other Wildcats – Cole Swider, Jermaine Samuels, Justin Moore, Caleb Daniels, Mark Armstrong, Ryan Arcidiacono — that currently play in the G League.
