Fixer Embark on East Coast Tour in Support of Bend EP

“The return of Rock ‘N Roll. Hot riffs, great hooks, a sexy look, and an out ofthis world frontman make Fixer’s show a must-see.”—Bill Aucoin, former manager of KISS and Billy Idol

Fixer delivers a unique brand of gritty, high-energy, melodic hard rock. Theband spent 2002 honing an explosive live act, cutting two EPs, winning threedifferent battle of the bands (one led to Fixer playing the Rock ‘N Roll Hall ofFame in Cleveland, Ohio), garnering radio play (in New York City, Long Island,Maryland, Germany, and Japan), and earning kudos from myriad undergroundpublications for both the live show and recordings. Expect no less from them in2003.

The Bend EP, cut in September, received enthusiastic reviews in 2002. Recordedwith Jason Corsaro (Queen, Soundgarden, Buckcherry, Madonna, and Duran Duran),was hailed by the delightfully seedy NY Waste magazine as “dirty metal music fora three day bender,” while Hellride Music praised the return of a “good ol’fashioned hard rock band.” The best (and most profane) review came from JoeWawyrnizak at Jersey Beat, who described the Hell EP as “Bullshit-freestraight-up confrontational hard rock bossness,” while The Boston Globe calledit “Gritty retro rock.”

With victories and praise under its collective belt, Fixer rockets into 2003,touring up and down the East Coast while converting DJs and fans there andbeyond. Buoyed by promotional teams in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts,New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and California, and in far offlands such as the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy and Indonesia, Fixercontinues to spread their gospel of melodic hard rock.
