The Gertrude S. Lane Foundation 2nd Annual Trek-A-Thon is Sunday, October 5, 2003. Rain or Shine.

Bring your kids! Bring your friends! Bring a workplace team!Definitely bring your (leashed) dogs for the Best-Dressed Trek Dog Contest.

Where? Ridley Creek State Park. Pavilion B, Area 8

Registration 11 a.m. Trek begins 11:30 a.m.Minimum donations: $25 per person; $30 per couple; $35 per family.

We’ve marked a one-mile Trek for the casual walker that takes about a half hour, and a 3-mile, 1 hour and a half Trek for heartier types. Choose your own pace. And support a worthwhile cause.

Our Trek benefits the children of Nepal. You’ll help The Gertrude S. Lane Foundation build a second library in Nepal to bring the magic of reading to the children. And enjoy a fun day with your family, your friends — and your dog!
