’20s bring roarin’ fashion
February 19, 2004
Fashion trends always goes through phases and, more often than not, the phases come back into play after years of being down and out. This spring, fashion seems to be leaning heavily towards the flapper, swankier days of the twenties. As seen on the red carpets of the Grammy’s and the Golden Globes, the style of the Jazz Age is making a come back. These loose fitting dresses, delicate materials and long strings of pearls are increasing popularity with the stars of Hollywood and runways in Paris, Milan and New York. Although most of these twenties influended styles aren’t the most flattering on the female form, they do have a definite upside. Besides being comfortable, and we all know how much of a fan I am ofcomfort, this style also brings with it a the new trend of metallic materials.
