The United German Hungarian Club is celebrating its founding with a 94TH GALA ANNIVERSARY BANQUET on Saturday, March 27. The public is invited to join in this festive event.

The banquet commences at 6:00 PM with Cocktail Hour 6 to 7 PM with complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres followed at 7:00 PM with a celebration dinner.

The dancing and dinner music will be provided by the Heimatklaenge Orchestra with German and American dance music melodies during and after dinner. A special performance by the Cultural Group will entertain after the dinner. Dancing will continue until midnight.

Tickets are $55.00 per person and black tie is preferred.

The United German Hungarian Club is located on 4666 Bristol Road, Oakford, PA 19053. For those not familiar with the area, Bristol road is the highway at the northern (rear) entrance to the Neshaminy Mall.The UGH Club entrance is approximately 2 miles from the mall and the entrance is marked with a lighted club sign.

The United German Hungarian Club of Philadelphia and Vicinity traces its roots back to 1910. Started by hard-working, family-oriented immigrants, the club today includes people of many backgrounds. The club has fielded national champion soccer teams, and actively participates in community activities, cultural events, and festivals throughout the country. In the fall of 2003, the Cultural Dance group was invited to perform in Bavaria, Germany during Oktoberfest and finished in fifth place in the International competition. The members of the United German Hungarian Club reside in Philadelphia, in the surrounding counties, and in the southern New Jersey communities.
