I was informed by a friend that there is now a virtual “ride board” on the Internet that allows people to find others who either need a ride or are offering a ride to a certain destination. The site, www.rideboard.com, offers ride boards for everything from sporting events to cross-country trips. There is also a section for specific colleges, including Villanova, where students can offer or request rides for weekends or breaks.

The site for Villanova is http://rideboard.com/search/results.php?action=cat&id=1332&val=Villanova. There is no charge for this service. I also want to note that I have no affiliation with the site host (I merely requested that Villanova be included on the site) and am writing this solely to serve the student body, especially underclassmen without cars.
